Northeastern Federation of Stamp Clubs Minutes of the March 12, 2006 Board of Directors Meeting was held at SOPEX 2006 whose location is: the BPO Elks Lodge, 652 Andover St (Exit 45 off I 93), in Lawrence, MA.

REMINDER OF NEXT MEETING: The next meeting which is the Annual General Meeting will be held at 2:00 PM on May 7, 2006 at Philatelic Show 2006, Holiday Inn, Boxboro MA.

President Wayne Rindone called the meeting to order at 1:35 PM.
(In the Secretary's absence, Bruce Bolduc took the minutes.)

There was a quorum.

Secretary's Report: Minutes were approved noting the meeting was moved to SOPEX stamp show. Wayne passed out a new list of Board Members, but still needs to change the address for Len.

Treasurer's Report: The Treasurers report was handed out. A motion was made, seconded and passed to fund the Kids Program for 5500 for some Disney Sets and other material needed. Philatelic Show 2006 (Jeff) May 5 7,2006: Jeff reported: The dealers' tables are all sold. 3000 show cards to dealers are to be sent out by John Lutz Still looking for more Exhibits: currently there will be 167 exhibit frames Seminar Areas are available to Societies ....see Jeff Volunteers needed for: set up, Exhibit Frames, Front Desk, Kids Area Chelmsford club to set up frames in Kids Area Nomination Committee Jeff to chair the committee, 2 more committee members will be named.

New Business: Len stated his Hologram Exhibit is on display a the Historical Society in Littleton Question Frames for Washington 2006 Are they needed? A proposal to set aside money to purchase a new projector for use by the Kids Group if the other one is not available. This proposal was tabled until we find out if the other projector is available.
