Northeastern Federation of Stamp Clubs Minutes of the January 25, 2009 BoD Meeting held after several cancellations due to snow storms was held at the Spellman Museum of Stamp History at Regis College in Weston, Massachusetts.
REMINDER OF NEXT MEETING: The next meeting will be held at 1:00PM on Sunday, March 29, 2009 , at the Spellman Museum, Weston, MA.
President Jack Miller called the meeting to order at 2PM.

There was a quorum of the BOD. President Jack Miller called the meeting together at 1:35 pm.
Secretary's Report: Len Andexler's report of October 18, 2008 was approved with the cost of the Web Site remaining at $20-30; the Webmaster is looking into a short term contract.
Webmaster's Report: Mark Butterline will arrange for the website to be monitored to determine the scope and direction of the problem, which the site still encounters. Provided information on unique visits by people by month from April-08 through Dec -08. and outage minutes per day.
Treasurer's Report: Bruce provided the NEFSC Income Statement from October 2007 through September 2008, and the Balance Sheet as of 1/15/2009.
Youth budget increased from $500 to $1000 for 2009 budget.
APRL donation set at $250.
Donation to Spellman Museum $1300.
Wayne provided the Philatelic Show 2008 Final Financial Report Jan 2009.
Old Business: An update to the secretary's minutes of October 18, 2008 indicated the 4 Display cases to the Spellman Museum were donated with an original cost of $8000 each with a contribution of $675 to defray the transportation costs from the Philatelic Show.
New Business: On January 18 an action Item from the President Jack Miller was sent to the BOD via

Jeff had sent to the BOD the proposed show contract with the Boxboro Hotel for 2011, which needed attention within 3 days. Jack proposed the following motion:
The NEFSC BOD approve Jeff signing the contract for NEFSC with the Boxboro Holiday Inn to hold the Philatelic Show 2011 from April 28-May 2,2011 at their hotel. Jeff had seconded the motion that the BOD had approved via email.
Bruce mentioned will sponsor a youth stamp program at the Clara Barton Club Summer Camp for 24 days June-July- August (8 weeks).
PHILATELIC SHOW 2009:
The theme for the 2009 Philatelic show will be the 100th anniversary of the Lincoln penny.
Jeff & Wayne will provide a proposed budget for he 2009 Philatelic Show.
Bruce provided a draft NeFsc 2009 budget with some modifications.
President Jack Miller adjourned the meeting at 3:00PM
